As a Vocational Consultant for the past thirty years, I, Paul R. Blatchford, have performed comprehensive vocational assessments of individuals around the issues of employability, hireability, and sustainability of work-related activities, as well as lost and/or current earning capacity. I have utilized a standard methodology in the development of my opinions, assessing the individual’s capacity to perform a variety of work-related activities, dealing with exertional as well as nonexertional limitations. In doing so, I have utilized Department of Labor standards and other career rehabilitation theories that professionals in this field use. I am certified in the administration of adult psychological testing, as well as aptitudinal and dexterity testing. I have developed and analyzed transferable skills analyses. My opinions have been accepted in a variety of forums, including State and Federal courts. My reports and analyses have been utilized in personal injury cases, long-term disability cases, divorce cases where there is an issue of spousal capacity to perform work and earn money, workers compensation, social security disability, and railroad retirement cases.
